The diving in the crystal clear waters around Lord Howe Island rates amongst the most pristine and spectacular in the world. Some of the most exceptional diving around Lord Howe Island is located at the Admiralty Islands and Balls Pyramid. The Admiralties are home to an abundance of soft corals, large schools of both temperate and tropical fish species, turtles, Galapagos whaler sharks and nudibranchs; to name a few. The world famous Balls Pyramid is home to large black coral trees, underwater caves and it is believed to be the only place in the world where you can see the Ballina Angelfish on recreational SCUBA.
For those who have never tried SCUBA diving before we offer the PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience in which you can see what it is like to breathe underwater. Our qualified PADI instructors will teach you some theory and skills before taking you on a guided dive in the sheltered waters of our beautiful lagoon, a truly memorable experience.
