Wonder at Australia’s largest snake, and become absorbed in the colourful, beautiful world of butterflies. Meet cute and cuddly koalas at Gum Tree Valley, or have your photo taken with them at Koala Encounters. Come face-to-face with Rex, our huge Saltwater Crocodile, in Kakadu Gorge, or lose yourself in the Daintree Rainforest, home to the world’s most dangerous bird, the Southern Cassowary. Take a hop back in time with wallabies and wombats at Wallaby Cliffs and travel to Kangaroo Walk-About to walk amongst the kangaroos and wallabies. Then, open your eyes to the wonderful world after dark at Nightfall.

WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo features interactive displays, inspiring and entertaining daily keeper talks and enhanced walk-through habitats including Koala Encounters, Kangaroo Walk-About and Butterfly Tropics. With a huge range of unique and legendary Australian animals, WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo is THE Australian animal adventure.

For guests wanting an even more hands-on experience, Python Encounters occur each day at 11:45am and 2:45pm, providing the perfect chance to hold, stroke and have your photograph taken with an enormous Australian python. The Outback Adventure Show, daily at 11:30am and 2:30pm, is a fun, interactive show featuring parrots, cockatoos, echidnas and more all showing off their amazing and unique natural behaviours. For something even more extreme, the Crocodile Encounter allows the brave to feed Rex the mammoth Saltwater Crocodile! Crocodile Encounters are available 1:30pm Saturdays, October through to March.
