Charters towers is a known for Cattle sales(open to public Wednesdays),goldmining-old and new with displays,peoples museum,historic Venus gold battery,national parks,movie theatres-includes drive in movie theatre,good medical facilities,banks.Activities are fishing,nature walks,bowls,tennis,cricket(Goldfield Ashes),golf,all codes football,photography,bird watching from wrens to eagles,native animals can be easily observed at a local hilltop reserve for no fee.
We can pick up guests from the bus or railway or airport (no scheduled flights).Friendly advice and local knowledge is available from Julie and Marvin Loughrey your Hosts
