The idea is to go slowly so that you can absorb all the sights, sounds and smells of the rainforest.
Each tour takes about an hour to an hour and a half to complete. We show you some basic safety points before you start. We also point out some bush foods along the way.
We are about one hour west of Mackay at Finch Hatton Gorge in North Queensland. There are plenty of places to stay at Finch Hatton Gorge and nearby Eungella. There are also a few cafes and pubs with great food. We are close to Araluen Waterfalls where you can swim - the water is always cold!
The tour is suitable for anyone of average fitness and of any age. Weight restrictions do apply (18kgs to 120 kgs). The cost is $60 per person. We run tours most days, weather permitting. Please note that bookings are essential, either by telephone (preferred) or via our website.
