Two houses are open with guided tours, on Wednesdays from 10am to 1pm and weekends from 1pm to 4pm. Entry charge is A$8.00 for adults, A$5 for Seniors and Concessions, and $2.00 for each child. Entry for National Trust members is free.
The houses are beautifully furnished with items made and owned by people in Townsville in the past. They tell many stories of the rich history of Townsville and of north Queensland in the age before electricity.
