The Gawler Ranges to the north of Wudinna, which is reported to be one of the oldest landscapes in the world, offers some fabulous rock formations, wildlife and scenery. The Wudinna and Minnipa Granite Trails also offer some unique rock features including Mt Wudinna which is the second largest single rock monolith in Australia. See how the early settlers of the area, captured and channelled their precious water.

Along the highway is the Australian Farmer Granite Sculpture standing 8 metres tall and having taken over 18 months to sculpt. The markings tell the story of good and bad cropping years in this mostly dry agricultural region
