Seal Bay Cottages (Kaiwarra) is a group of seven self-catering cabins, situated around a winter / spring lagoon. Along with the cabins we also have a four bedroom backpackers (formerly the old farm house) with shared kitchen, toilet and shower facilities it is able to house 12 people comfortably. The cabins and hostel are located at the Seal Bay turn-off on the South Coast Road, only 30 minutes from Kingscote and 15 minutes from Vivonne Bay.

Situated in the middle of the major tourist route of South Coast Road, immediately opposite the Seal Bay Road, Kaiwarra is the closest accommodation to the Seal Bay national park.

Our cabins and backpackers are situated on 35 acres of land in a tranquil rural setting nestled against native gum trees around a winter lagoon. Water birds, wild flowers and native animals can be found on your doorstep depending on season.

Our fully-licensed in-house restaurant, Kaiwarra Cafe, is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and serves a variety of meals including local produce.

This is the perfect backdrop to a natural adventure. Relax with a drink of your choice and enjoy all that KI nature has to offer.
