Darlington Vineyard is situated on a 2 hectare site located at Orford just a kilometre from the sheltered waters of Prosser Bay on Tasmania’s Freycinet Coast. It is within sight of the historical but no longer present 1885 vineyard established by Diego Bernachi at Darlington on Maria Island.
The prevailing dry east coast conditions are moderated by the influence of the sea and combined with the ‘hungry’ soil, provide Darlington with its unique terroir. Personal attention to each vine and our low cropping rates ensure small berries resulting in intense flavours in our elegant cool climate Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc varieties.
Wine sales and complimentary tastings are available daily.
