Seaview farm is a secluded adults retreat on a real working farm. Our practice is biological farming so not only is our beef and lamb grass fed and organic it is also high in nutritional value because of the mineral content in the soil. We also grow garlic and blueberries.
The accommodation consists of four ensuite units (doubles) with magnificent views of the ocean, hills and mountains plus a 100 year old cottage with three bedrooms sleeping seven in single beds only. There is a cosy living room here and a large well equipped kitchen that is currently accessible to all guests. There is also another sitting room - a large and very pleasant old dairy - both living areas have good warm wood heaters.
This accommodation, set in beautifully landscaped gardens of over 2 acres, is ideal for small groups.
And if you are interested in caring for the environment, wildlife, healthy food, bushwalking or just simply sitting relaxing either in the dairy or garden or reading a book, Seaview Farm is a great holiday destination in itself.
But there are many enjoyable and interesting day trips - to Freycinet National Park, Bay of Fires, Pyengana Cheese Factory where the cows milk themselves and St Columba falls among many adventures.
Because of the many hazards - such as farm traffic, electric fences and water features - Seaview is not suitable for children under 12.
