Thelma Retreat is a secluded country garden six kilometers south of Dover in the far south of Tasmania. This garden is full of color and fragrance having a backdrop of native bush land and many small birds have made their home here. In this tranquil setting there is a teahouse, the perfect place for Devonshire Tea, a wholesome Breakfast or Lunch. You will find the homemade bread, scones, cakes, pies and tarts made with organic flour stone ground at the teahouse kitchen a real treat! Vegetarian dishes are always on the menu. The garden and teahouse are open mid-August through to mid-May.

The comfortable one bedroom apartment at Thelma Retreat is a peaceful place to relax. Fully equipped for self-catering the apartment has a roomy kitchen-dining, lounge room with CD player, DVD, (no television), bathroom with shower and bedroom with queen size bed and walk-in robe. This accommodation is available all through the year.
