Blueberry B and B is a cosy self contained accommodation located in a quiet rural setting 11 kilometres from the nearest large centre of Burnie on the North West Coast of Tasmania. It consists of one self contained apartment with 4 bedrooms, 1 bedroom has queen sized bed with ensuite bathroom, and the other 2 bedrooms share a family bathroom with separate shower, own kitchen and entrance. With two bedrooms with queen sized bed, one bedroom with double bed andand fourth bedroom with 2 single beds, it can cater for up to eight persons. The second self contained studio apartment caters for 1 or 2 persons and has a queen sized bed, with separate bathroom and kitchen. The games room with table tennis and the laundry are shared. There is level access, grab rail in the shower and beside the toilet. Parking is 5 meters to the door. In the lounge area of studio apartment is a wood heater. The four bedroom apartment has reverse cycle air conditioner and views of the ocean. The property of nine acres is planned using permaculture principles. On the property there is a dog, 2 horses and several chickens. No artificial chemicals or fertilizers are used. Fresh fruit and vegetables are available in season.

In our local area are several temperate style feature gardens such as the renowned Emu Bay Rhododendron Garden all run by volunteers, Gunns Plains Caves, a wildlife park, a winery, forests and waterfalls. Commercial farming in the area includes an alpaca farm, cropping of potatoes, poppies, and cool climate vegetables.
