Wake to the soothing sounds of Bass Strait - after breakfast, head out to explore the local attractions. In Devonport there's the Tiagarra Aboriginal Museum, Home Hill (home of Joseph and Enid Lyons, just as they left it), the Devonport Gallery and Arts Centre, the New Maritime Museum or enjoy a swim on one of the local beaches.

A short drive away you can take a steam train ride on the historic Don River Railway. Further afield paddle a canoe on Lake Barrington, visit Sheffield the town of murals (around 47 murals), the limestone caves at Mole Creek, or day trip to Cradle Mountain and do one of the many bushwalks in this world heritage area.

While you're out buy local cheese, fish, fruit, cream and wine for a relaxed dinner in your cabin, or you might light to try some local fare at one of Devonport's many fine restaurants.

From Bass Highway & Victoria Bridge in Devonport Take one of the off ramps to TARLTON ST, East Devonport >
If Leaving the Ferry terminal TURN LEFT onto >

> TARLTON ST heading North toward Bass Strait,
You'll go over a small hill TURN RIGHT at the 'SHELL' Service Station ONTO :~ BROOKE ST.
Take the NEXT LEFT ONTO :~ NORTH CAROLINE ST keep going past the Telephone Box & Shop, follow this to the waterfront at the end of the street.
