This 5-star luxury, fully self-catered week-stay 4-bedroom Georgian home is a gem of a Tasmanian historically listed property, overlooking the South Esk River, 15 minutes drive from Launceston, and only 7 minutes from the airport.

The Stone House (circa 1825) oozes with charming history - it was built with convict labour for the first Northern Tasmania clergyman (Rev John Yule), from rubble and stone. Recently restored to recreate the historical significance of it's day with French doors to the front, and a beautiful glass conservatory looking out to the swimming pool and gardens at the back. A new stairwell leads up to two bedrooms with en-suites, looking out through dormer windows, providing perfect garden and river views. Bathrooms have been renovated to bring back the charm of the days of old.

Stunning Old English gardens surround the house with a magnificent Magnolia, a Copper Beech and a Scarlet Oak tree that frame the front of the house, and a bluestone paved pond in the shape of Tasmania sits in the front garden. Garden seats are found throughout the garden to enjoy the serenity.

An extra bedroom and living space can be made available for a larger booking in the caretaker's wing. A new country styled kitchen makes for a great family room, with fresh eggs from the chickens to add to the country feel. Peace and tranquility is on offer at this beautifully restored country home in the small township of Perth.
