In Effect From:
May 6th, 1:00 pm
In Effect Till:
May 6th, 9:00 pm
Current Status:
Warning No Longer In Effect

Thunderstorms and intense rains could lead to flooding and travel delays.

Thunderstorms and heavy downpours are expected in some areas this afternoon and evening. While not every location will experience these storms, those that do may see 20 to 40 mm of rain falling in a short period of time.
If you are in an area prone to flash flooding, it is advisable to prepare a flood plan and emergency kit. Check road conditions if you are driving, or public transport schedules if you are using buses or trains, in order to avoid delays.
Prepare for power outages by stocking up on torches, batteries, a mobile phone power pack, and other essentials. During a thunderstorm, seek shelter in a safe enclosed space such as a car, and avoid trees or structures that may attract lightning. Be aware that weather warnings can change rapidly, so it is recommended to stay updated on the forecast for your area.
