Many areas in the warning zone can expect 30-40mm of rain, with higher elevations in northwest England possibly seeing 70-90 mm. The mountains of north Wales could receive 100-150mm or more. To stay safe, it is advised to avoid traveling on roads in potentially hazardous conditions. If travel is necessary, be cautious and watch for dangers. Avoid driving, walking, or swimming in floodwaters, and call 999 if you encounter fast flowing or deep water and wait for assistance.
