Intense rainfall causing localized flooding and travel disruptions.

A region of intense rainfall will linger over Skye and parts of the Outer Hebrides from Sunday night through Monday morning. While exact accumulations are uncertain, it is likely that 25-35 mm of rain will fall widely within a 6 to 9 hour period, with a few locations possibly receiving 40-50 mm.

To stay safe, check if your property is at risk of flooding and consider creating a flood plan along with an emergency flood kit. Be proactive by assessing road conditions before traveling and adjusting your plans accordingly to avoid delays.
