In Effect From:
June 15th, 11:00 am
In Effect Till:
June 15th, 10:00 pm
Current Status:
Warning No Longer In Effect

Thunderstorms and heavy showers moving slowly may disrupt travel and outdoor activities.

This afternoon and into the evening, showers and thunderstorms are expected to increase in coverage. While not every area will experience a thunderstorm, those that do may encounter slow-moving storms accompanied by lightning, hail, and heavy rainfall. The most intense showers and storms could deliver up to 20 mm of rain in under an hour, with localized areas receiving 30-40 mm in 2-3 hours. If you are in a potential flood risk area, consider preparing a flood plan and emergency kit. Stay informed of road conditions, public transportation schedules, and potential travel delays. Be ready for power outages by gathering necessary items like torches, batteries, and a mobile phone power pack. Seek shelter in a safe, enclosed area during thunderstorms and avoid trees or structures that may attract lightning. Stay updated on weather warnings as they may change rapidly.
