As the evening progresses, the number of flood warnings issued by the Environment agency grows. There are currently 55 flood warnings (Flooding is expected. Immediate action required) and 240 flood alerts (Flooding is possible. Be prepared) in force.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Latest 2nd Jan:<\/strong> Flooding continued into Tuesday as water levels increased further on the river Mole and River Wey in Sussex and Surrey. Earlier today we reported on further flooding in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.weatherforecast.co.uk\/blog\/guildford-flood-2nd-january-2014-river-wey-bursts-banks\/\">Guildford<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.weatherforecast.co.uk\/blog\/leatherhead-brockham-flood-2nd-january-2014-river-mole-burst-banks\/\">Leatherhead<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.weatherforecast.co.uk\/blog\/godalming-flood-2nd-january-2014-river-wey-bursts-banks\/\">Godalming<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Another storm is expected to move over the UK from tomorrow morning bringing more rain and winds, and further increasing the risk of flooding. Heavy rain continues to fall in many parts of the country.<\/p>\n<p>Maidstone (Kent) Council are warning of potential flooding in Yalding. They say that sandbags are available from Benover Road, with More sandbags to follow later at Lyngs close.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier today, Leatherhead football club was evacuated by police. We are not sure if this was due to flood risk, but after severe flooding in Leatherhead last week, it's likely it was done as a precaution.
