Immediate action required' for the River Ouse in Yorkshire, as recent rainfall in the upper catchments causes river levels to rise.<\/p>\n<p>Water levels at York are already at a very high 3.1 metres, and the river has burst it's banks already in some areas. Water levels are expected to rise further to 3.4 metres by 8pm tonight.<\/p>\n<p>The 3 areas affected by these flood warnings are...<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>River Ouse at York - St Georges Field<\/li>\n<li>River Ouse at York - riverside properties<\/li>\n<li>River Ouse at Naburn Lock<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Recent pictures posted to Twitter show the already dangerously high water levels in York.
