The Met office have issued a Yellow weather warning of strong winds \u00a0for Northern Ireland and Scotland for the morning of the 19th December. \u00a0Winds are likely be accompanied by heavy rain for a time.<\/p>\n

Winds of up to 80mph are possible so there could once again be some disruption to travel, and large waves could cause overtopping in coastal locations.<\/p>\n

The winds will be caused by a low pressure system passing by the North West of the UK, one of a series of low pressure systems that has made it's way across the Atlantic this week.<\/p>\n

This is the low pressure system reported this weekend by the Weather Channel, who's Chief Meteorologist, Leon Brown\u00a0named it Storm Emily and reported that it will affect Southern parts of the UK. \u00a0There are no weather warnings for the South of England on Thursday at the moment.<\/p>\n
