Ogopogo Resort is a 4 season cottage resort with 8 cottages of various sizes. The property of Ogopogo Resort has lovely gardens and pathways that lead to shaded wooded areas and to the sandy beach for swimming, sun bathing and castle building. There is also an in-ground heated pool, a children`s sand and climb area and waterfront docks with seating to enjoy sunsets. Ogopogo`s cottages are situated close to the lake or higher up in the woods of the five-acre property. Many cottages have two person Jacuzzis and fireplaces. All cottages are immaculately maintained and tastefully decorated.

Not your standard housekeeping Cottage Resort!! We are asked time and time again;"Do we need to bring our own sheets and towels?" Absolutely not! We are a step up from the efficiency cottage model of yester-year. Our guests can arrive at the resort and within the first ten minutes, be able to jump in the lake and start their holiday. Each cottage is fully equipped with all bed linens. bath towels, kitchen utensils, glassware including wine glasses, coffee cups, toaster coffee maker, microwave, fridge, stove, frying pans,pots etc. In fact, most often our guests will arrive with nothing more than their clothing for the week, and after they have settled in will take a leisurely trip into the town of Minden to pick up their groceries less than 6 minutes away. These are fully equipped cottages. Our drinking water is sourced from a deep well and is filtered, passed through a UV filtration system, chlorinated and then sent to the cottage for consumption. (tested by the ministry each month for your safety) The only thing you need to bring is your own beach towels, food, clothing and drinks. That`s it!

Paddleboats, paddleboard, canoes and kayaks are also complementary at Ogopogo. Fishing boats and ice fishing equipment can be rented at reasonable cost while on the resort. Some of the finest Lake Trout fishing is available right on Mountain and Horseshoe lakes.
