The Kröller-Müller Museum is named after Helene Kröller-Müller (1869-1939). Thanks to decisive action on the part of Helene and her adviser, H.P. Bremmer, the museum houses the second-largest Van Gogh collections in the world; 88 paintings and 182 drawings by Vincent van Gogh. Including such modern classic canvases as Terrace of a café at night, Bridge at Arles and Country road in Provence by night.

The collection contains - in addition to Van Gogh – representative works by famous artists such as Georges Seurat, Pablo Picasso, Auguste Renoir, Clause Monet and Piet Mondriaan. The museum has a unique 25-hectare sculpture garden with over 150 sculptures by Auguste Rodin, Henry Moore, Barbara Hepworth, Richard Serra, Jean Dubuffet, among others, making it one of the largest in Europe.

The museum lies in National Park De Hoge Veluwe, National Park de Hoge Veluwe is the green treasure chest of the Netherlands and is one of the most beautiful regions of the country. As a visitor you will be delighted by the variety of landscapes which unfold in just one day. The Park covers 5,400 hectares of woodland, heathland, peat bogs and drift sand. It enjoys a wide variety of plants and animals and provides habitats to extremely rare Red List species.
