The Range Warkworth is an all-weather facility offering 5 different sports all under one roof (excluding the mini golf which is outdoor). Only a 45min drive from Auckland Central, located on State Highway 1, a few minutes from the beautiful riverside village of Warkworth and also the ever popular Matakana Coast. The Range has easy access and plenty of parking for larger groups. Ideal for your stop off in Auckland as you head North or South.
The Range has a 260m golf driving range, baseball & softball batting machines, 9 hole mini putt course, 2 indoor cricket lanes with Bola batting machines and an indoor riffle range – something for everyone!
Suitable for all levels of golfing experience, the golf driving range has fourteen bays, each divided to provide generous swing space. Five bays are fitted with an auto tee-up system that has adjustable tee heights to avoid having to bend down. Re-live your youth or sharpen your skills on the only Auto Baseball Pitching Machine in the Auckland area, imported from the USA.
The 9 hole mini putt course is suitable for all ages and is a lot of fun. The cricket facility offers 2 lanes each with its own BOLA machine imported from the UK, capable of emulating Shane Bond's fast ball, Shane Warne's ball of the century or Sir Richard Haddlee's accuracy. Age and ability are no barrier! Test your shooting skills at the newly opened indoor shooting range. Targets of varying sizes are set up on three levels, with variable speeds to suit novices or put a hot shot through their paces!
The Range Warkworth also has an outdoor picnic area for you to enjoy if you need a break between activities. Drinks, snacks, ice creams and delicious ALTURA coffee is available from 9:30am.
