Glentunnel is forty-five minutes from Christchurch Airport and strategically placed to travel to the West Coast (SH73), south to Queenstown/Mt Cook/Wanaka (SH72/77) or north to Kaikoura/Nelson/Picton (SH72). Free wifi and ample parking available. Great stay for first or last night in South Island when exiting Christchurch.Historical village, rural views, national parks nearby, trout/salmon fishing, gliding, hunting (red & fallow deer), farm tours, horse riding, jet boating, ballooning, skiing/snow boarding, golf (course at the gate) clubs & Cart available, local & day walks.
