We are the closest motel to the Mt Dobson Ski Area with a daily shuttle that stops right outside our door. We are also within one hour's drive from two other ski areas. We are an easy 20 minute drive from beautiful Lake Tekapo while Lake Opuha, with its gorgeous reflections, is only 10 minutes away.

We are ideally located for skiing/snowboarding (July to October), fishing (a few minutes walk to several rivers and streams), swimming, water skiing, hunting (deer, mountain goats and wallabies), hiking, mountaineering, star gazing, sightseeing and golf. Mt Dobson Motel is a perfect location to stopover, enroute between Christchurch and Queenstown.
