Woodgrove Homestead is an over 100 years old homestead, completely renovated and extended, with all modern comforts. It is situated at Masons Flat/Hawarden at the foothills of the Alps in a beautiful rural environment.
Woodgrove offers two luxury suites (Bay Window and Russet Suites) with King-size doubles, en-suite bathroom and separate sitting room, veranda's and decking and separate entry.
In a separate building (the Gallery), Woodgrove also offers a guest-wing with 2-4 single beds, sitting and dining area as well as en-suite bathroom. Deckings at NW and SE side.
Hawarden, in the Hurunui District, North Canterbury, is an ideal spot for a couple of quiet and relaxing days, far from the hustle and bustle but still at easy travel distance from the many attractions of North Canterbury, such as the Hanmer Springs pools, Kaikoura whale watching, Mt Lyford skiing, the lakes area (Lake Taylor, Loch Katrine, Lake Sumner and Lake Mason) and not to forget the many recreation activities as tramping, hunting, fishing, rafting and canoeing on the Hurunui River.
