An excellent, moderately priced, option for groups wishing to combine a Middle Rock Farm Tour with farmstay accommodation. The main building of the Shearers Quarters sleeps 8 people, 2 adjoining cabins can sleep an additional 4 persons. There is also a sofa divan in the main living area. We only let the complex to one group at a time, even when there are only 2 people. Check Middle Rock NZ for more info.

The Shearers’ Quarters offer:

• 4 double rooms and a sofa bed. Each of the kingsize double beds can be converted to 2 singles. The cabins offer 2 twin rooms which can also be converted to kingsize doubles.

• 3 bathrooms including one en-suite

• Fully self contained kitchen, laundry facilities + BBQ

• Large logburner fire in a spacious living area

• WiFi, Sky TV (limited channels)

• Bed linen available (extra charge)

• Safe outdoor area for children

• Farmyard setting where families can experience farm life.

Charges - $45 per adult, $25 per child with a minimum charge of $140 per night. Linen is $20 per person extra for the duration of the stay.
