Our lodge has 16 rooms, all with ensuite bathrooms. The building has been finished to a very high standard, utilising lots of native timber, with large windows to enjoy the scenery. All of our front-facing rooms have incredible views of Aoraki/Mount Cook and the surrounding mountains.

Our lounge area is the best place in Mount Cook to put your feet up and enjoy the mountains and glaciers. The views from this room are unbeatable and it has a cosy fire and lots of comfortable couches to relax in along with a large deck on which to enjoy the sun.

The lodge has a fully equipped self-catering kitchen and dining area, and a communal lounge. We have free DVDs for viewing, a coin operated guest laundry and a small grocery outlet with reasonably priced breakfast foods, basic dinner items, postcards etc. We provide free baggage storage. We also have bicycle rental.

We are a booking agent for all local activities including Helicopter and Skiplane scenic flights offering once in a life time experiences. We offer 5% discount on all scenic flight bookings made with your room reservation.

We also take bookings for the famous Glacier Explorer boat tour on the Tasman Glacier, New Zealand's longest glacier, and the Glacier Sea Kayaking experience on the Mueller and Tasman Glaciers both of which leave from our doorstep. These half day excursions are unbeatable value and we are more than happy to arrange these trips for you.

We are a two minute walk from the Sir Edmund Hillary Alpine Centre featuring the 3D Aoraki/Mount Cook Traveller Movie and Planetarium and directly across the road from the Aoraki/Mount Cook Visitor Centre featuring a stunning array of interpretative displays and outdoor alpine garden area complete with a mountain hut.
We are centrally located, all coaches drop off at our door and you can easily walk to all village amenities. We are easy to find, right in the middle of the Mount Cook Village opposite the Department of Conservation Visitor Centre and the Old Mountaineers Cafe and Bar on Bowen Drive. Our address is 101 Bowen Drive. When you arrive in the village from state highway 80, turn right, drive up the hill then take the first left. Follow this road to the top of the hill (about 200 metres) and you will see us on the right hand side. Parking is free and right outside the building or at the rear.
