The Tasman Glacier Heli Hike is a 3-hour adventure including 2 x 15 minute scenic helicopter flights amongst NZ's highest peaks

You land at 1,200 metres above sea level and spend up to 2 hours in the mountains. The gently undulating terrain is an amazing landscape of fluted ice, runnels, moulins, and sinuous winding streamlets.

As your crampons bite into the ice, you will trek on gently undulating terrain, below the highest peaks of the Southern Alps (Aoraki and Mount Tasman). The snow-clad giants tower above vast ice-falls that bulldoze and grind down the mountainsides.

Your helicopter will return you safely to Mt Cook airport at the end of your adventure.
