While you are here you might want to book one of our kayak tours into the nearby Wairau Lagoon to hear the history of the area and see wading birds like the Kotuku, Royal Spoonbill & Godwit. This area is the first know site of the arrival of humans to New Zealand which makes it rich in mystery and stories.
