All fishing gear provided, times are flexible to suit your group and with your local skipper, you are sure to walk away with having had a great experience of fishing in the Queen Charlotte Sounds. Our base boat is MV Tory and suitable for 1 – 12 passengers and we also have access to larger boats if required.

Sounds Connection is a locally owned tour company and has been successfully operating since 1993. Our tour guides are local and experienced with a passion for the Marlborough area and what it has to offer.
Option 1:
Inner Sounds Fishing Excursion –
Blue Cod catch and release applies to this trip between 1st September – 19 December (inclusive) Species likely to catch on this trip include Gurnard, Perch and snapper to name a few.

Option 2:
Outer Sounds Fishing Excursion –
Blue Cod is available all year round
Delete “suitable for trips from Queen Charlotte Sounds Bays and accommodation”

Option 3:
Full l Day Outer Sounds Excursion –
Possible one of the best days fishing you will have – targeting Blue Cod, snapper and terakiki.

For all trips the choice is yours to keep your catch or catch and release
Scallops are available on all trips between 1st July – 14th February (inclusive)
