The rural outlook, tranquility, your own space and a wonderful ambiance are enjoyed by all who stay. The proximity to NZ's longest drivable beach is unexpected. You can be the only ones there. A wonderful haven for those interested in birdwatching or walking the beautiful grounds.

The Pavilion was rescued by the farms owner Christine Rope - having been removed from the Te Kopuru Domain and for many years sat on a vacant section rotting away. Christine had the Pavilion moved onto her farm and spent 3 years working with local builders renovating the Pavilion to its present condition.

A welcome oasis for travelers.

The Pavilion is elevated offering great views of rural Northland, and extinct volcanoes along the sky line. Tokatoka is among the more famous and can be reached by car, off SH12 17km South of Dargaville, the walk to the summit will take about 20 minutes. In Pioneer days, the river pilot who lived at the base of Tokatoka would climb to the peak to look out for sailing ships in the harbour. Tokatoka is a special place to the local Maori People and is featured in their history and mythology
This tranquil setting among established gardens lakes and ponds provides a great get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, only 5 minutes drive to Glinks Gully and miles and miles of golden sand, dunes and ocean. Swimming, good fishing, land yachting, beach combing, and picnicking in the Dunes are typical of what locals and visitors enjoy at Glinks.

The Farm is located on Turkey Flat road, 3km from Te Kopuru, a small Northland town on the banks of the Northern Wairoa River. It was famous for its Hospital, the only one in the Northern Wairoa area, until it closed in 1956. And, in the days of Sawmills and Sailing Ships it was a very important port providing all the necessities required at that time.

From the front gate the Pavilion is 200 meters from the road, and is sited for magnificent rural views. The gardens, with private lakes and a petanque court are all man made, and are in constant demand for couples getting married. Note Dargaville is the last town where provisions can be purchased, to enjoy your own cooking.
