After climbing, technical instruction courses, ascents and general alpinism fun, the teams aim to fly back out if the weather allows.
Should the weather keep you from flying in on day one, Wanaka has a number of very good rock climbing options and the traverse of the Remarkables over near Queenstown also offers an excellent one day alpine climbing adventure.
