Fantail Lodge is situated within easy reach of the city of Dunedin(15kms) and yet has a delightfully peaceful and relaxing setting typical of the Otago Peninsula.  We are minutes from unspoiled beaches with unparalleled wildlife viewing opportunities (for which we offer professional advice) along with the major attractions of the Albatross Centre and Yellow-eyed Penguin Reserve. Locally, we have a safe bathing beach and we offer the free loan of kayaks.  Supermarkets are situated in town (15kms away) but there is a well-stocked food store, a restaurant, takaway and pub in Portobello (5 mins away).

Fantail Cottage, tucked in a quiet corner of our lush garden, has an open plan design offering queen bed accommodation with two extra singles on a mezzanine.  Recently refurbished and carpeted and with a heat pump, it is fully equipped for self-catering.  There are TV, VCR and CD players and a sea view from the downstairs bed!    Original artworks complete the ambiance. Ideal for a couple or a family group, we always get warm and delighted reports from our visitors.  The tariff is $150 per night for two people, extra visitors $25 each.

Bellbird Cottage, built to a high standard of comfort and decor is a queen bed accommodation with a relaxing spa pool right on your deck, exclusively yours.  It is privately situated in our lush garden and has a sea view.  It is fully equipped for self-catering and entertainment.  Thoughtful design, original artworks and a cosy setting in native planting makes this an instant favourite with everyone who stays. The tariff is $160 per night for two people.
