Right on the lakefront, the views of the majestic mountains and lake are spectacular at the Lake Hawea Holiday Park. The lake is over 23 km long and the water is crystal clear. Our guests love to sit back and enjoy the beautiful trees and bird song. The office supplies rods for you to use so you can have a go at fishing. Salmon and trout are in the lake and if you catch a fish let us smoke it for you. There are good quality mountain bikes available for hire too and the tracks are on the door stop for walking and biking.

The facilities are basic and clean. You can pitch a tent, plug in your van, nestle down in a Cabin or try on of the self-contained 2 bedroom cottages. There is also a 3 bedroom holiday lodge which is great for families, friends and groups. The camp is busy in the summer holidays (Dec 26 - January 24) with local families camping. Dogs are are allowed to stay from February through to the 20 December. The kids love the old fashioned playground and they love toasting marshmallows on the big fire place. The camp shop is stocked in the summer for icecreams, lollies, drinks, bread and milk. Other times you can go to Sailz shop and Restaurant. The hotel also offers great meals and both establishments offer a complimentary pick up and drop off service.

The park has 30 minute free WIFI daily and you can also buy IAC internet cards.
