This tranquil campground is located in Central Taranaki 20 minutes from the mountain and a minutes drive from the small town of Eltham. We are surrounded by beautiful farmland; the Waingongoro River winds its way around our boundary and our Taranaki mountain is easily seen from most areas in the camp.The camp is primarily used for group bookings such as schools, churches and community groups but can cater, as bookings permit, for individuals and families who want basic motel style accommodation or somewhere to put their tent or camper van. The facilities that are available for casual campers are: showers and toilets, river swimming, washing machine, and a good gas BBQ ($5) Kitchen facilities may be available for casual campers depending on if there is a group booking. For group bookings there is a hall, dining room and full catering kitchen,lounge, a small library and games equipment, laundry facilities, cabin and lodge accommodation for up to 80 people.
