The Park also contains a comprehensive selection of other native New Zealand birds and reptiles in a peaceful forest setting with ponds, wetlands and a huge dome aviary. Throughout the day there are Keeper talks and daily feeding sessions including Kiwi feeding at 10.00am, 1.30pm & 3.30 pm, kaka and kea feeding at 11am, kakariki feeding at 12pm and Blue Duck and native Longfin eels feeding at 2.30 pm.

The Otorohanga Kiwi House is a 'not-for profit' wildlife centre engaged in New Zealand conservation and the breeding of rare and endangered native species since 1971.
