As the name suggests, our intent is to create a new level of Bed and Breakfast experience and to become rated as the No1 in the Hawkes Bay. The house is new, there is a lot of original art, it is located on a large section (.67 acre) with a rural outlook, yet conveniently located for access to all that Hawkes Bay has to offer. The house is large and for your privacy, our guest rooms are located in a separate wing. The rooms are all very spacious. They have new super king sized beds with luxurious linen. We also provide dressing gowns, flat screen TV's, coffee making and fridges. Our guests have use of their own lounge in the separate guests wing. The Guests lounge has Sky TV. All bedrooms have flat screen TV's with Freeview and can also view Sky. The house offers a large range of guest amenities; 18m heated lap pool, spa, gym, bikes, golf clubs, a bush area and decks, which collectively create a prestigious resort level of facilities and ambience. Some Guests choose to just "chill out" and enjoy the amenities. We believe that we offer an unparalleled experience of staying in a Bed and Breakfast.
As well as having a quality property and facilities, we believe it is at least of equal importance for Guests to enjoy great service and friendly hospitality. Our testimonials reflect that our Guests have enjoyed the experience of staying at Watea as much as we have been rewarded by the experiences and friends we have made. ‘
