Housed in the former Greta Point tavern building that was famously moved to its current site by barge in 12 pieces earlier this century, Foxglove Bar & Kitchen opened June 2010 in the heart of Wellington’s Queens Wharf precinct. The dining room is located on the ground floor with 180 degree views of the harbour and the Day’s Bay ferry on its journey to and from the seaside suburb of Eastborne. The dining room seats 40 guests with a further 14 seated at the beautiful banquet table under the shadow of our two story living wall.
The restaurant serves a delicious assortment of entrées, mains and desserts. Seasonal and locally sourced, then given the Foxglove touch to make a 3-course dinner or lunch extra special. Alternatively a more relaxed menu of tapas style grazing plates, gourmet burgers and sharing boards are available at all the bars and on the large upstairs deck, overlooking the water.
For larger dining groups of up to 34 people, the Games Room upstairs can be booked on our restaurant set menu.
