ITINERARY
Day 1:
Travel to the coast. En route, visit a craft market in Okahandja and the geological formations of Moon Landscape near Swakopmund. Lunch en route (for own account). Overnight at Swakopmund. [D]
Day 2:
Depart early towards Henties Bay. See the Rock Art and the Organ Pipes at Twyfelfontein. Lunch pack en route. Arrive at remote lodge in Damaraland in late afternoon for 2 overnights. [BD+LP]
Day 3:
Morning at leisure. Lunch. Afternoon sundowner drive in the Aba Huab River and possibly encounter the desert dwelling elephants (seasonal). [BLD]
Day 4:
Visit a Damara village, near Twyfelfontein, before departing to Etosha National Park. In the afternoon take your first game drive (in a closed vehicle) in Etosha. Overnight near Etosha National Park. [BD]
Day 5:
Day excursion into the park (in a closed vehicle). Explore the various waterholes along the enormous Etosha saltpan. Overnight near Etosha National Park. [BD]
Day 6:
Encounter the big variety of wild life in the park (in a closed vehicle). Overnight preferably near or in the Etosha National Park. [BD]
Day 7:
Depart for Windhoek via Otjiwarongo and Okahandja to explore a local handicraft market. Tour ends in Windhoek during late afternoon. [B]
