Event Toilet and washbasin with hot water. If you are hoping for lots of facilities then we are not the place for you, we offer a peaceful spacious retreat with a very warm welcome.
The camping field is set in the most private part of our 12 acre farm and offers a superb vista toward the Cotswold Escarpment. Lower Woods Nature Reserve (historic woods and coppices in 700 acres), Hawkesbury Common, Inglestone Common, Chipping Sodbury Common are all just a short walk from Oakfield Farm.
We have our own access directly to the footpath network, which begins along the bank of the Little Avon River and links to The Cotswold Way (0.8 of a mile). Monarch Way and the Avon Cycleway are on our doorstep and easily accessed by country lanes and footpaths, ideal for walking and cycling.
The main camping area is a well mown and maintained grass field on a very gentle slope, with plenty of wild hedging. The views are of open vista toward the Cotswold Escarpment, Horton and Hawkesbury Church, Hawkesbury Monument, Newark Park (National Trust) and further around toward North Nibley and the William Tyndale Monument. We have a private footpath to allow visitors access through our fields to the Little Avon River and the footpaths beyond.
