Christmas Cottage is a beautifully restored Granite cottage providing ‘4 Star’ accommodation in the idyllic setting of Newlyn, a working fishing village. It has views from the first floor across Mounts Bay, to Marazion, St Michael’s Mount and the Lizard! The cottage has original beams, modern kitchen and bathroom, wood-burner, (plus gas c/h), and a washer/dryer, plus outside line. Bed linen/towels included, (apart from beach towels). Digital TV, plus TVs in both bedrooms! Sleeps 4 plus baby in travel cot! Nearby there are Restaurants, pubs, shops and galleries, including the Newlyn School of Art. By car it is approx. 5 minutes from Penzance, (where there is a Railway and Bus/Coach Station. The cottage is situated in a lane at the end of which is a bus stop where buses go into Penzance, travelling the other way buses go to Land’s End. In the village is a good range of small shops, including a Post Office, Bank, Greengrocers, Butcher, Baker, Newsagents, Chemist, Hairdressers, Fish Market and Shellfish Suppliers, together with a supermarket, with cash point! A 24 hour Tesco store can be found in Penzance. There is a small shingle beach nearby and other sandy ones a short distance away. The cottage has small courtyard gardens front and rear, but is located in a lane which is safe for children, with the advantage of the use of 1 parking space. Many complementary items are supplied, together with items for children to use during their break. See our website for extensive photos and details of what the cottage has to offer, together with details of the many attractions and events in the area. Bookings are Saturday to Saturday, arrival time anytime after 3.00pm, departure up to 10.00am. Strictly no pets! No smoking. We do not cater for weekend or short breaks! Tariff £300-£700.
