It is situated in the middle of Longrock village, which is on the coastal road between Penzance and Marazion - a great location for exploring West Cornwall as it is just 10 minutes by car from Penzance train and bus stations, 20 minutes from the ferry terminal to the Isles of Scilly and half an hour's walk along the coastal footpath to the causeway across to St Michael's Mount. Days out and visits to Land's End, the Atlantic coast, the Minack Theatre and the locations where they made the new Poldark TV series are possible from Longrock by bus as there is a regular service through the village to a range of destinations.

There are 3 en-suite bedrooms and 2 standard rooms which share a bathroom on the landing. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is served each day in the Dining Room and there are daily specials on the menu with the price often including. The Mount View has a public bar, a pool table and is a great place to relax after a day out.
There is a large, private car park and bicycles can be stored securely by prior arrangement. Dogs are welcome at the Mount View and stay free of charge.
