Situated in Bowness-on-Windermere, Blenheim Lodge is an ideal 5-minute walk from local amenities, attractions and Lake Windermere and pier. Our hilltop setting means that guests may relax in peace and quiet whilst being no more than an easy hop, skip and jump from the hustle and bustle of busy Bowness. Avoid noisy main road traffic and footfall, as well as late night revelers leaving the pubs in the early hours of the morning, whilst enjoying the convenience of our town-centre location and those amazing views from your room!
Guests at Blenheim Lodge have free membership to a local private country club, a mere 7 minutes' walk from our door. Meanwhile, for walkers, there are walks to explore a literal 1-minute walk from our front door. Blenheim Lodge is the first guesthouse off The Dales Way Footpath that wends its way between Ilkley in the Yorkshire Dales and Bowness in Cumbria. At the back of our house are 4 viewpoints, including 2 with 360-degree views!
Bowness-on-Windermere is located in the South Central Lakes within the heart of the Lake District National Park. From here, it is easy to get around the Lake District, and guests will find Blenheim Lodge a great base for going out and about to explore and discover the Lakes. However, if guests fancy a lazy day indoors, we also offer a comfortable TV lounge for lounging in, from which there are also wonderful Lake and fell views to enjoy.
