Enjoy a nostalgic trip back in time behind our heritage steam locomotives, some dating back as far as 1894, and enjoy the unique experience of the Cumbrian outdoors at speed as you relax in one of our open carriages and take in the views on all sides.
Alternatively the Railway makes a great day out for when the weather is against us, with closed and semi closed carriages there are ways to keep dry whilst still taking in the dramatic scenery in quite possibly its most natural form!
We welcome families, wheelchair users, dogs and party bookings and if you have any queries please don't hesitate to get in touch!
