Ashwood Llamas is based in the far west of north Devon, about 8 miles west of Bideford, just off the A39 the Atlantic Highway situated between the villages of Parkham and Woolfardisworthy (Woolsery for short). We have about 10 acres of south facing land.

Meet llamas! Come and meet llamas here at Ashwood Llamas. For a family group (2 adults and up to 3 children) we offer an afternoon here at Ashwood Llamas. Bring a picnic to get the most out of your visit. This afternoon out is available during the summer months, June through to September, and on Tuesdays to Fridays, 2pm until 5pm. First up you’ll get a tour of our 10 acre smallholding where you will get chance to meet our llamas, our pygmy goats, our chickens, the odd dog or two and maybe even the Hilda the cat! Not only will you get to meet the animals but you will have a chance to feed them and also, in the case of our goats, cuddle them too. In the case of chickens you’ll be able to see if they have laid any eggs and help us collect them.

Or, join us for a Llama experience. What we offer – Up to two hours of our time, both Vicki & Kevin will show you around our smallholding, and giving you the opportunity to get up close and personal with some, if not all of our llamas, you'll even be able to take the boys for walk down our local lanes. We’ll give you some history of llamas in general, some useful facts about the way they will behave, and what you should expect from handling them. We offer this experience on weekday afternoons, except Mondays, although during the summer holiday period we are happy to do this at weekends. Booking is essential!
