Launceston Farm offers luxury stylish bed and breakfast and self catering cottages for grown-ups. At the heart of the idyllic Tarrant Valley on the Dorset/Wiltshire border, owner and farmer Sarah has converted the grade two listed Georgian farmhouse where she was born into a chic five-star B&B and two of the neighbouring outbuildings into romantic boltholes for two.

Walking and cycling from the farm gate are encouraged but there is lots to explore further afield including the World Heritage Jurassic Coast and the market towns of Salisbury, Shaftesbury and Wimborne with the delights of Stone Henge, Monkey World and Thomas Hardy's Wessex all within easy reach.

Breakfasts are a real highlight with ingredients sourced from the organic farm itself wherever possible. Rustic farmhouse suppers are served on Monday and Friday evenings en famille by candlelight. Pre booking is essential. The award-winning local pub is only a five minute walk into the village and over the splash.

We welcome dogs in our cosy Dog House - a converted boot room adjoining the farmhouse - and we have stabling for three horses. Bikes are available to borrow.
