Wynards Farm is set in eleven acres, in an elevated position overlooking fields, hills and the village church. Situated at the end of the pretty village of Winfrith Newburgh, Wynards is near the famous World Heritage coast named "The Jurassic Coast", which takes in Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door.;. Wynards is well situated for walking and cycling, whether by road or bridleways, with Monkey World and the Tank Museum ten mins drive away.
There are three double rooms, all with ensuite facilities, well filled hospitality tray, fridge, hairdryer, luxury toiletries, TV/DVD, free WIFI.
All rooms have their own entrance doors, two in the annexe, formely a hayloft, and a ground floor room, ideal for guests with limited mobility.
I have a fairly large garden with furniture placed around for guests use and a gas barbeque.
Breakfast is served in the dining room at front of house with views over the garden and you can watch the many birds visiting the bird table.. Recent additions are three Alpacas, Cliff, Elvis and Bob. I have also bought two electric bikes which proved very popular with guests last year, especially for going to the local pub, The Sailors Return, one mile away. Dogs are also welcome to stay with their owners.
Wynards Farm is ideally placed for visiting West towards Abbotsbury and the famous Swannery and Sub-Tropical Gardens, with views over Chesil Beach and the Fleet and onwards to West Bay of Broadchurch fame, going East to Corfe Castle, Swanage, Poole and Bournemouth or inland North to Sherborne or Shaftesbury (Hovis advert). Weymouth and Dorchester are 15 mins. drive and Portland another 10mins.
Plenty to see and do if you stay at Wynards Farm.
