Situated in the small village of Didmarton in the Cotswolds, The King’s Arms is a quintessential award-winning British country inn and the perfect place to relax and experience some of England’s most incredible countryside. Built in the 17th century and owned in 1745 by the noble Beaufort family, our Grade II listed coaching inn was recently restored to bring The King’s Arms into the modern day whilst still hinting to the building’s historical past.

Combining modern comfort with rustic elegance, each of our cottage-style bed and breakfast rooms have their own individual character. Named after the prize-winning hounds from the nearby Beaufort Hunt, each room includes sumptuous features such as king-size beds, ivory sheepskin rugs and luxurious Feather and Black bedding which altogether ensure a relaxing and comfortable night’s slumber.

Once the stables of the original King’s Arms in the 17th century, our two spacious self-catering cottages are ideal for families and larger parties looking for their own private Costwolds hideway. The cottages have been carefully appointed with dark wooden beams, claw-foot bathtubs and brown leather sofas.

As a true countryside pub, we also serve delicious British cuisine using the best seasonal and locally sourced produce. Our menu offers a wonderful range of dishes to satisfy every palette. Daily specials are handwritten on a blackboard and are cleverly complimented with a selection of lighter snacks. Set menus are also available.
