Eaters, drinkers, families and dogs are all welcome. In the bar area there are snugs and a warm open fire for the winter, and doors to the riverside garden for the summer. The restaurant is warm, cosy and welcoming, with doors to both the riverside garden and courtyard.

The food we serve is fresh and delicious, but definitely not fancy. We will always use seasonal ingredients, and where possible local ones too. On our menu you’re likely to see trout from the stream running along the bottom of the garden, herbs from the courtyard and come spring, eggs from the The Black Swan’s chickens. Our menu changes regularly, but to get a flavour have a look at our sample menus.

We're passionate about delivering an exceptional experience, whether you're just popping in for a drink, having lunch with friends or having a large celebration.

If you have questions, or if we could help you organise an event, please get in touch and we'd be happy to help.
